Characters at the Animal Kingdom

There are several opportunities to meet characters, pose for photos, and collect autographs throughout the Animal Kingdom. This page lists the characters by name with links to the land in which they can be found. Follow the link to get more details. Keep in mind, Disney changes the schedule for characters very frequently, so seeing a name here is no guarantee. If you spot a character at Animal Kingdom that isn't listed here, or have information that a character listed here has been retired from the park, please let us know.

Baloo

The lovable bear and NahTahZu.com favorite from The Jungle Book can be seen occasionally at the Character Greeting Trails in Camp Minnie-Mickey or at the Park Entrance.

Dinosaurs

We're not sure what their names are (perhaps Chester & Hester?), but a pair of dinosaurs can be seen across from TriceraTop Spin in Dinoland U.S.A.

Eeyore

Don't let his mood bring you down. Eeyore will probably give you a kiss at Character Landing on Discovery Island and occasionally at the Character Greeting Trails in Camp Minnie-Mickey

Goofy

Goofy appears, dressed for fishin', at the Character Greeting Trails in Camp Minnie-Mickey. He will also interrupt your meal at Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Africa.

Governor Ratcliffe

What's a character meet-and-greet without a villain? The bad guy from Pocahontas can occasionally be found at the Park Entrance.

King Louie

The "cray-zee" swingin' king of the orangutans greets guests on occasion at the Character Greeting Trails in Camp Minnie-Mickey or at the Park Entrance.

Lilo

Lilo, at her Hawaiian best, poses for photographs at Island Mercantile on Discovery Island.

Mickey Mouse

Mickey holds court at the Character Greeting Trails in Camp Minnie-Mickey and appears at Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Africa.

Minnie Mouse

Minnie, in her high-heeled hiking boots, can be found at the Character Greeting Trails in Camp Minnie-Mickey.

Pluto

Pluto plays with your kids at Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in Africa.

Pocahontas

Despite the closure of her show at Camp Minnie-Mickey, Pocahontas can still be seen at Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Rafiki

Where else but at Rafiki's Planet Watch? Well, sometimes at the Park Entrance.

Stitch

Stitch doesn't stray far from Lilo, hangin' ten at Island Mercantile on Discovery Island.

Tigger

Tiggers do autographs best at Character Landing on Discovery Island.

Winnie the Pooh

Pooh waits at the old boat dock, now called Character Landing on Discovery Island.
